" Started as two uni students trying to find a way to sell their vintage, personal closet items (and still sort of is in a way ;),
between the two of us here at our little theMe Vintage store, we specialize in mainly vintage fashions ranging from designer European brands to all kinds of Japanese brands in-between: fashions such as Christian Dior to one-off local Japanese branded items, Jean Paul Gaultier to Issey Miyake, and especially Vivienne Westwood's 90's to 00's years as well.
Below are some of our favorite 'theMes' of outfits from Ancient Webs to fantasy fairy aesthetic items to name a few of our favorite past sold items.
Here we believe that everyone deserves a proper outfit designed for 'the Me' they are feeling for a proper start to their own 'theMe of the day' so tell us dear fashionister (is that a word? we don't know ;)

FAQ's
What are your shop policies?
Once a item is bought,there are unfortunately
no returns/exchanges/refunds
once a item is bought.
Most of these are vintage items and for all our customer's sakes, we don't want to risk the chance of return damage as has happened in the past. Please, if uncertain with the item's condition, prior to purchase contact us with questions as we are happy to help you on your 'magical purchasing journey'.
Where do you get
Thats a great question and one we can say confidently; absolutely no clue most of the time.
Sometimes its literal closed eyes random scrolling on Pinterest, Depop, and IG at untimely hours of the night and seeing what it lands on. (but be careful with scrolling media addiction you know wink wink?)
Than we find items similar in our shop and see what we can do about it to make it into a theMe of some kind
Do you ship to other countries besides the US?
As there are unexpected tariffs/taxes that the purchaser may have to pay to actually receive the item, we ask that you please contact us with your shipping address country so that we can work out any unexpected costs before they happen.
After purchasing, what happens?
First of all, thanks for purchasing with us; we appreciate you.
If your address is within the US, your item is expected to ship within 7 business days, with tracking code . The final delivery date will be pending on the weather so if you wish for it to be shipped sooner, please let us know before purchasing as we can't guarantee shipping dates, only approximations.
For those overseas/across the border, item is expected to ship with tracking code within 7 business days AFTER shipping/tariff and tax details are discussed to ensure the best possible shopping experience.
A item I really wanted just got sold; do you have any similar items not listed yet?
Sorry about your item selling out; sometimes we do surprise preview pics on our IG as well as some unlisted items on there too (hidden among other listings once in a while). A similar item may be listed on there so check it out while they are up as we delete the random preview pics as well as discounts with those early bird previews.
I have a photoshoot/event in mind; are rentals possible?
Following our main shop policy, we do not unfortunately. As you can see from our shop items, since many of these are unusually rare, near one of a kind items, putting a deposit on them to rent still doesn't cover the cost of possible damages that may occur to them. So for the future customer's sake, we do not do rentals to keep the item under our own quality control standards since they are already older, vintage items.
Do you have a physical shop or some
way I can see the item/s in person?
At the moment, a physical shop in this economy is....
frustratingly 'alskdjfasd' not possible.
However, for serious buyers we do meet ups in LA and nearby cities/Tokyo and Osaka as well. If you are interested, please DM us on our ig on the right button here or contact us in a inquiry just below here.
your ideas from?
Overall, we both live in big cities and honestly just text each other random outfit ideas we see on mannequins/people passing by on everyday strolls.
We also enjoy a mix of sewing ourselves; none of which are wearable yet as we have a lot to learn on our sewing journeys but we hope to one day also fashion peeps with our own designs as well. That would just be so 'sew' cool.
